One good thing about the photography industry is that it has various areas of specialization ranging from wedding or portrait photography to wildlife photography or travel photography, amongst many others. Over and above, starting a photography business is what we have chosen to do because having done our due diligence and research, we have realized that it is a business that is highly profitable if well planned and managed.
I have in my mind to build relationships such that will offer all round photography services. This means that with the studio I will cover Portraits, fashion and beauty photography, fashion shows and advertising photography.

For portrait and Fashion photography the target market is through families, children’s and womens also for the fashion.  The appropriate age for portrait  is between 25-45 who want to invest in order to capture their memories such as wedding planners, schools, couples who planning to get married.  The most appropriate families are the College graduates who finish the college and take appropriate professional photos to continue with their professional careers.
 For the fashion, also appropriate audience should be fashion designers, magazines, advertising agencies, shops. The appropriate age for the fashion is 18-30 years old. The women who are taking buying decisions are the appropriate market for my purposes. With fashion the womens with high income who want to invest in order to be beautiful. 


The competitors are other professional portraits and fashion photographers and other photographic studios. In our days, there are a lot of studio that have non-professional photographers is important to understand the market in order to making a marketing and sales strategies that will help the business to make profit. For example, to making promos for the first 12 months, participating in photography exhibitions and to do advertising through social media platforms. One of our advantage is the excellent customer service.
